In otherwords, the fetus is "hunting" the mother. This can be physically (if the baby is born the mother will die), mentally (if the baby is born it will seriously adversely affect the mother's mental health), financially (if the baby is born, the mother will suffer serious financial problems).<BR/><BR/>I think the saddest case is the girl whose twins will be adopted out while she is sent packing to some girls' school in Israel. The poor girl! Can you imagine her mental turmoil, her self-punishment, her future life? She either rebels and gets cut off from her entire family, support network and community; or she suppresses the entire incident and pretends she's like every other normal frum teenager. She creates a false life and identity for herself.
